Embark on a breathtaking 4-hour journey along the full 15 miles of Kauai’s Na Pali Coast. Departing from scenic Hanalei Bay, this adventure combines the thrill of coastal exploration with an unforgettable snorkeling experience. Just 15 minutes from departure, you’ll find yourself immersed in the majesty of Na Pali’s towering cliffs, hidden caves, and pristine waters.

Ride aboard an open motorized catamaran (no restroom onboard) and expect a fun, active ocean adventure with sea spray and occasional splashes. The "Ikaika" is a 32ft power-catamaran, with a capacity of 18 passengers, giving you unobstructed views of the Na Pali Coast. 

Our experienced captain selects the optimal route each day, giving you exclusive access to hidden sea caves, towering emerald cliffs, and cascading waterfalls unreachable by larger vessels. Our crew’s clear, engaging narration balances this coastlineʻs rich history, ecology, and personal stories so you stay fully immersed in the scenery unfolding around you.

When wildlife is active, you'll get uniquely close encounters with Hawaiian spinner dolphins, green sea turtles, monk seals lounging on secluded beaches, and even pacific humpback whales during our winter months. Midway through your adventure, we moor in a one of two pristine lagoons for snorkeling, swimming, and lunch. Jump into crystal-clear waters with provided snorkel gear, or relax aboard with delicious sandwiches, snacks, soft drinks, and bottled water.

The return ride is faster and more adventurous, heading against wind and waves. Dry bags are provided to protect personal belongings. 

This is the tour guests call the "highlight of our trip" again and again. Spots are limited and fill quickly.

Know Before You Go

• Guests must be prepared for exposure to the elements
• Open vessel with no bathroom
• Hanalei Bay has no loading docks; guests will wade into shallow water and climb a ladder to board
• Passengers will get wet during boarding, disembarking, and possibly from sea spray
• Dress in casual beach attire (t-shirt, shorts, sandals, light jacket recommended)
• Bring sunwear (hats, sunglasses, rash guards), towel, sunscreen, light jacket or rain poncho, nausea remedies if needed

Inclusions

• 45–60 minute snorkel and lunch stop
• Sandwich lunch with chips, bottled water, and soft drinks
• Snorkel gear and foam noodles
• One 20-liter dry bag per couple

Exclusions

• No restroom onboard
• Alcohol not provided (BYOB allowed in cans or plastic only)
• No glass containers or large cooler

Participant Restrictions

• Children under 4 not permitted
• Guests who are pregnant, or have serious health conditions (back, neck, heart, recent surgeries, etc.) not permitted
• Guests must be able to climb a vertical ladder from shallow water
• Guests must be in good general health
• Weight & Capacity Restrictions - vessel capacity limited by total weight (US Coast Guard regulated), accurate body weights required at booking; maximum weight per guest 275 lbs 

Seasonal Disclosure: Snorkeling & sea cave entry depends on daily sea conditions. The captain may decide to exclude these activities if unsafe. Guests over 70 years old are welcome if in good general health and able to climb the vertical dive ladder unassisted.
